These products will be made with exterior glue but no warranty for exterior use.
The key to using wood exterior components is to finish them with top rated exterior products during installation and when the top coat starts to break down it should be refinished.
Most wood posts fail on the exterior when the shaft is installed before the top and bottom of the post are sealed. Fit the post and before final installation finish with three coats on the top and bottom.
